The fact that DLO has one vote makes me wonder if you all watched the game...How many threes did he aggressively close out on?  He energizes the team.  When Dlo went in after the long break, he still struggled, it wasn't until Dom came in that things got rolling again....That alley oop pass from dom to Christian Jones energized the team.  He was also our primary ball handler.

The board hates Dee.  You didn't know that.  He takes too many shots.  Bad shots.  Oh and he doesn't smile enough.

:)
As to smiling--you should have seen him before the game in warmups.  Someone asked and he stopped to pose for pictures with little kids.  He was very pleasant and upbeat--great school representative.  Maybe he did to much in the desporation days and people think it should continue or maybe his hand really is a problem as you watch him during games rubbing it.

I love it.  He is the kind of player you want on your team and you don't want to play against.  When thug #2 Evans threw him to the ground he was gonna bite his head off.

*FYI thug number 1 was the center throwing elbows around like candy on Halloween.

And Chris O grabed DLo and restrained him because he was going at the refs.  When Wolfman and Jakarr were both called for fouls I was afraid they'd both get ejected.  Two trips in a row at our end JaKarr was complaining about the way he was being hit.  He usually never complains so wolfie must've really been laying the leather on him.

Wolfie got him twice clearly in the face with an elbow.

Obekpa smiles on the court as much as Hatten used to.

I think our opponents think they can rattle STJ with rough play. Due to our youth, lack of rebounding, and D-lo's demeanor ( not a knock), teams are probably told that it is easy to knock us off our game by being " extra" aggressive.

Great to see it didn't work last night and we kept our composure. Signs of a maturing group.

Plus putting us on the line is usually a good strategy.

Yeah, for sure.  Thankfully we shot the lights out last night.  If we shoot our normal average we probably lose.

NYPost article says DLO hurt his finger during ND game and is still swollen.. He says it is not affecting his performance. I think it is and that explaines his drop off.

I've seen him grabbing that his right hand repeatedly the last few games.  Last night it was obvious.

So lets see. D'Lo's finger, Branch, who limped all over the place, and Garrett who was clearly holding his side from when he went up for a monster rebound until the end of the game. And we're going to play in front fo 25,000 hostile, snowbound people in beautiful downtown Syracuse. Ugh ! Glad we won this one. Getting production from Frenchy, and Obekpa's improving shot are coming at the right time.

I'd want him in my foxhole 7 days a weeks.

That's what she said!
