Did Harrison deserve to get suspended?

Not sure if this should be the right question to ask.  But would be interested to see the results.

if coach said he deserved to be, that's all the info i need to know.

Its hard to say if he deserved to be suspended or not if we do not know all the facts.

Agree. Coach did it, he knows the all the facts. Done deal.

This isn't the right question to me.  I'd like to see options with degree of suspension.

I am not saying that is the case here, but you have never had a prick for a coach? Ever seen "One on One"? Coaches are not always right!

We don't know the details. It's impossible to say yes or no w out knowing all of the facts. Either way, this sucks. I'd be stunned if our remaining 3 games aren't slaughters. And yea, we're the lamb.

Coach is probably right- sucks to sacrifice the season.

I'm not familiar with the details, but I doubt our coach felt the sudden urge to torpedo the season just because D'lo looked at him wrong. The fact is Lavin is the HC and he will be here before and after the players. This is his program and if in his opinion he felt like one of his players was disrespecting him, his fellow coaches, or players on the team, then he is well within his right to do so.

I hope beyond hope that D'lo views this as a wake up call. He's a very talented player and I feel like he would get even better if he came back next season. Whether that's in the cards, I don't know but I hope this isn't the end of him at St. John's

You can question his coaching and his clichés but at no point anywhere has Coach ever given us reason to question his treatment of his players.  Not knowing the details doesn't mean that Lavin and his staff don't have the credibility to believe them when they do something like this.

I can't believe that Lavin would have risked sacrificing the remainder of the season if he felt he had any choice other than this.

How could anyone on here question the suspension without the facts?

The question I ask ,is did he deserve to get suspended for the rest of the year as opposed to 1 game? Pretty harsh at an important time. But I dont know all the details. With 1 game he might take his medicine and return w a better attitude. W the remaining year he may not return. I for one would like to see him back next year unless he was a total detriment.

I shouldn't speculate, but I will.  I picture Lavin calling DLo in to talk about his latest minor indiscretion---and things getting a bit ugly while he's in there.  Lavin has no choice but to give DLo an ultimatum and DLo does not respond in the most appropriate way.

Frankly, if my kid's school calls me and tells me he's suspended, my first instinct is to think the teacher or school official (a professional) had a good reason---until I hear something different.  At this point, I give the coach the benefit of the doubt.

Lavin hasn't really said anything and the media has only reported what Lavin told them.  Again, nothing.  Something happened.  I don't think Lavin woke up yesterday and just decided to suspend him out of the clear blue.  Again, it is pure speculation.  Maybe DLo blew up during practice.  If that's it, then others would have been privy to it.  I guess we'll find out more eventually.

You say Lavin hasn't said anything and than you say the media is reporting what Lavin told them. Doesn't that mean that Lavin did say something or are you waiting for him to call you on the phone or show up at your house and explain things to you personally?
