The defensive help is absolutely incredible

I really look forward to next with Sanchez.  We will really should have the best defensive front-line.

Agree here.  Sanchez is also a good rebounder and can make shots out to 3.  He's also taller than Jakarr so we get an injection of height as well.  Will be grest to have him out there for a year with this existing frontcourt.  There won't be many better.  Want to see Obekpa add some offense and muscle in the offseason.

Maybe they don't want to take Cooley out of the game on Sr. night.  It is working to our advantage so far.

Man our zone offense... Wish Marco could get some burn.

Our offense is so predictable and doesn't move. We also couldn't hit a 3 pointer if the Atlantic Ocean was the hoop. It's really strange...usually the law of averages allows for a hot day from 3 even for the worst 3 pt shooting teams every once in a while, but we haven't had a break. How can we be this bad from 3?

We need Marco in the game just for the threat. This offense has no shot without an outside scoring threat. They're just going to collapse the paint.

Slashers, not shooters = losses

How is Felix and Dom shooting 3s better than Marco?? Come on Lavs. Does he have an issue with the French?

+1000 Amazing how every other team can find shooters but us. That's on Lavin until this problem is solved.

Probably because he's married to one. Lol

Lol! But seriously everyone else in the rotation gets a pass on their first 3-4 breaks. Marco misses one and he sits. I don't get it

Best passer since cook. Loves that left handed side arm pass.

Anyone else notice the opponent ALWAYS makes the shot they need right before half? Every time...it's really amazing actually. This SJ team looks dominant 1 second, builds a nice lead, then gives it up before you can even cheer for the last basket we made.

Isn't it funny that when we have five seconds to get be ball up the court to end the half that the ball gets stuck in the first row and we can't even get the ball in. We have to be out scored by 50 points this year during the last minute of the first half. Honestly can't remember a basket we've had all year when we had the opportunity to run he clock to zero.

In my head on that last ND possession I was saying "please just don't allow a 3" and sure enough...

Win or lose, Lavin owns Mike Brey's Notre Dame teams.  I think the strategy is spot on.  We are playing well overall.  Anybody forget we are missing the 3rd leading scorer in the Big East and our starting SG?  This game gets won with defense and defensive boards.  Keep scoring the way we are and we win.
