Down double digits and Phil ignores Marco begging for the ball at the 3 line to miss a pull up J. Perfect end to the season.

Even with Sanchez, this team not making noise next year, especially if Harrison does not come back. No worse shooting team in country and dont see that changing. In a guard dominated game, we have none with exception of D'Lo.

Let the season end. This is embarrassing.

Never thought three weeks ago I'd be praying for an nit bid.

Can we PLEASE stop with the "everyone is ignoring Marco" posts.  He doesn't move without the ball.  When you guys think he's open, there is usually a defender a few feet away, waiting for the pass to be made.  He has to learn to move more to get open.

Branch was horrendous tonight.  Jakarr had a bad game.  Amir made some dumb plays and Sir Dom gave us nothing.

You can cite Phil's shooting % all you want but he was still our best player tonight.  The team looked terrible.

Finally, I'm not big on knocking coaching moves but playing the walkon in the first half and calling the TO when we were getting the momentum were 2 bizarre moves.

We didn't play well enough to win, but lavin gets all the blame for getting blown out.

He didn't ignore him. He didn't see him.

Completely agree. After this season, I hope Lavin understands the need to recruit players that can actually shoot the ball.

It is pathetic how bad they are at it. Outside of Harrison, there is not 1 player on this roster who can knock down a long range shot with any consistency. Unless there is a talented JUCO out there or some recruit that decommits, the team will be the exact same next year.

1. This team is a Big East basement team without Harrison.
2. Marco is terrible...he sucks plain and simple. Give us a real 3 pt threat please.
3. Lavin may not be on the hot seat just yet, but it's certainly warming up leading up to next season. Especially with a much weakened Big East and adding Sanchez, doing well next year is CRUCIAL.

Bourgault plays uninspired. He's either really slow, or he doesn't care. I can't imagine that he and Hooper are both on this team next year.

If Bourgault knew what he was doing, he'd be moving around more than any player on offense. Instead he tip toes around, hoping that the defense will forget where he is.

Phil was without question our best player tonight (barring the idiot lob at the end)

I've been saying it all year, but someone needs to sit down with JaKarr and explain to him he is incapable of hitting an off balance jumper from long range. Game after game he launches these 15 to 18 footers while either falling backwards or sideways. If you are going to take that shot, set your feet. Or better yet, go to the hoop.

If they don't add shooters, they aren't taking a step forward

Marco actually moves without the ball pretty well, and thanks for the basketball lesson but on the play in question there wasnt anything in between Phil and Marco except Phil's inability to see the floor.

Branch was absolutely the goat tonight, he was horrible. But the play I cited at the end of the game was just such a perfect embodiment of the season, I had to point it out.

On the bright side it was a good sized crowd.

And my seat was better than Mike Maher's seat.  Although I was stuck sitting next to a pissed off Seton Hall fan.

Now on to picking another loser in the derby.
