I would rather get additional practice time by scrimmaging LIU every night until their first round game.

Let the CBI experience die with Norm.

If the CBI is all that we have earned, shouldn't we play in it? Don't forget the NIT used to accept a team that finished one game over .500, so this is merely an extension of that tournament. The difference is mainly in prestige. Either you're dancing, or you're not. NIT and CBI same crap. Neither have an office pool. Both are irrelevant.

I would hit the CBI if the NIT doesn't take us. This team needs to play

Not to worry. That crap isn't televised.

And that's one reason why you go to the NIT, but skip the CBI.

Yeah still hoping for an NIT bid, but we should not accept a CBI bid.

They deserve the CBI. It's time to take your medicine.

With mostly frosh and sophs, I think you play every game you possibly can - that includes CBI if it's offered.  I'm also hoping we're scheduling the max 5 exhibitions in Europe next summer/fall.    Five actual games for Sanchez and Gift before the season even starts could be HUGE for next season.

Seriously though, I wasn't able to watch the game because of work (and my buddy Moose didn't respond to my text). Is Lavin trying to get fired?  Did he lose a bet?  Playing walk ons during key moments last two games - why?

Immediate 5 - 0 run in Nova's favor with the walkon on.  Immediate 7 - 0 or 9 - 0 run with the walkon on against Marquette.

Top 3 strange Hollywood moves that backfired this season:

1) Suspending D'lo
2) Red shirting double G
3) Walkon gate

???

My opinion on this is the same as it always is - crappy season after crappy season.

Post season tournaments that begin with an 'N' - Yes.

Post season tournaments that begin with a 'C' - No.

I love watching st johns basketball and in this season the talent level is so close together I would bet some cbi or CIT teams beat some high seeds in the ncaa n nit. If you love basketball and love to compete why not?
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"
