I keep reading where the board keeps busting Lavin's chops on this quote. Living in DC, I hear the same quotes constantly from Mark Turgeon and Tony Bennett of their teams. Even the quote from Calapari on today's broadcast that his team this year just never got it. It happens, but we don't accept excuses on this board.

In the NIT nothing is more dangerous than a hungry team.  Virginia is probably disappointed they didn't make the dance.  We have to take advantage.
