2012-2013 Player of the Year
« on: March 24, 2013, 01:40:35 PM »
Jakarr gets my vote.   As a freshmen he played very well, took on more and more of the load as the season went on, never got frustrated when the season started to slip away, and represented the school well on and off the court.

Choz said it a few weeks ago, and it bares repeating; Lavin says jump and Sampson asks "how high coach?".

Without question, it's Harrison.

No question?    D'angelo averaged 18, Jakarr averaged 15 and shot a higher percentage.   And, one of them got himself kicked off the team.

Harrison wasn't there when we needed him the most.  Jakarr gets it.

What's our record without Cody Zeller?  You can't give him credit for what he hasn't done.

Sampson made more shots per game off less attempts per game than Harrison. However I voted for my "leader" of the team Dom Pointer. Led the team in assists, steals, and FG%. 3rd in rebounds & blocks. 4th in scoring

After his suspension we became a terrible basketball team. Since we don't know what he did to get suspended, I choose not to blame him, but rather put the blame where it belongs-on the man to chose to make this horrible mistake. For a 3rd time.

Woops, I thought it was player of the game, voted for Phil by accident. Jakarr or Dom would get my vote

And how'd we do after he got kicked off the team?  The wheels fell off, we had no outside threat.

Player of the Year should probably finish the year as a member of the team.... You wanna say Most valuable, that's one thing.

Jakarr is POY with Dom a close second.
