Agree. Also he does not have KU offer yet.

Kentucky is on every kid's list if they've ever gotten a call from an assistant coach.  It's a badge of honor. How do you have UK and then a bunch of 3rd and 4th tier programs.

He was coached by AC Antigua with Dominican team. Nice mention for him and a safety net pick perhaps for KU, although they never need one.

But it does seem like a lot of the kids we were targeting have been cutting their lists and were not making the final cut.

But it does seem like a lot of the kids we were targeting have been cutting their lists and were not making the final cut.

The problem is that the coaching staff is prohibitted from talking about potential recruits.  Who we are "targeting" is based on rumor and innuendo and info from kids and their coaches.  Reaching out to a kid might mean to them that we really want them, while to the staff, they are just looking at the kid.  Later on, when the kid narrows his list, he doesn't say "Well, St. John's didn't really want me."  To an outsider, it looks like the kid dropped us when, in fact, our interest was only lukewarm.

Just a guess but this list looks like it was cooked up by some people with their own agenda.
