Hinkle deserves #1 based on everything I have ever heard about it.  I get why they don't have us top few, but we can't be 8th.

Yeah I'm not going to argue Hinkle and the history stuff.  If he wants that 1 thats fine.  But I mean the Phone Booth over MSG?

We definitely should be in the top 5. However, it would be nice to see the place full and possibly open the old blue seats of the arena. That seating area they built 2 years ago is sick.

Its still MSG, I would still think it would be #1. Surprised Xavier's was in the middle, would of thought it would be lower but I dont know much about it.

MSG is #1. The rest are crap. DePaul, Seton Hall and Creighton I have been to. I would rather watch on TV, or just not go at all. Awful arenas in awful neighborhoods.

Everything I've heard about Creightons arena has been good. Forget the town. What didn't you like about the arena?

I've been. It's like where the Nets the used to play in the Meadowlands.  No style at all. You're a mile away from the game.

The article seemed to focus more on the environment inside the arena rather than the arena itself.  MSG is fantastic, especially since the renovations, but it is usually 1/2 - 2/3  empty during our games.  I am hoping it is packed for every game this year and in coming years.

A half empty MSG is still louder and better atmosphere than Phone Booth in DC or Pavillion at Nova.

I wish I knew how to stop it. I figured people would assume it wasn't intentional.

When MSG fills up it is great; when it doesn't it is dreadful.  For those among us who were going to games in the 1980's it was the place to be.  when you can again sell your tickets above face, it will be rocking
