Random note which I found of interest.  HS guard Allan Guei won a freethrow contest 2 or 3 years ago and could have kept most of the money (according to an article) but donated the money to help kids in his high school pay for college.  Great guy.

Having said that, I hope we crush the Lumberjacks (cool mascot too, something authentic there)

According to their site, we're a Division I powerhouse. :D Hopefully by the end of the season, no one will be laughing at that idea.

I think we coast to an easy win tonight.  Not sure why, maybe it's because the guys should have some fire in them after a close first game, maybe it's because I know this team got beat by 22 by Cal... whatever the reason, I expect the guys to have fun tonight and win an easy one.

Sampson looks stronger this year. Has been hitting the gym.

A fan of the 3 guard lineup also.

Sampson not wasting anytime putting them up.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Rysheed plays very within himself. Very impressive for a freshman.

Great ball movement by this second unit.

Best ball we've seen thus for through these two games. I like the 1-2-2 look too. Rysheed knows how to play basketball and it is a real pleasure to watch.

Good start overall, using their height advantage on the boards and going inside on offense, up 19-4.

Agree completely. Rysheeds not just an athlete, which is something I was worried about early in the season until he had some time to develop.

Both offensive and defensive rhythm are light years ahead of last game.  Defense has been really tight.  Gift looks really good st both ends, and in the zone.  Jordan is excellent overall.  Team is better with him on the floor for sure.

Very low offensive IQ.
