Updated Season Wish List
« on: November 08, 2013, 09:01:52 AM »
1. Lose only one out of conference game. ( Cuse or Badgers )

2. Finish in top three or four in  BE, make BE Tourney finals & win two games in NCAA Tourney,

3. Turn heads nationally & with recruits,  resulting in two additional functional big men for 14 from Juco,, Fifth Year transfer pool or other sources in the Spring.

4. Get an early 2015 oral commitment or two by season's end.

5. Lose at most one Underclassman to turning pro or transferring.

6. Top 25 ranking to start 2014 season.

7. Winning Lotto ticket, so I no longer have to give a s..t about any of this going forward. Kidding! Would then meet Ted at all away games via private jet.

Call me greedy, but I want a finish in the top two in the Big East.

As a grad of 69 & a Johnny fan well before that, I have basement full of coal.

As a 76 grad have to concede you have slightly more coal in your basement than I do. We better make room for some more though I am afraid.

We like Boston Red Sox fans.  After long suffering, the sheer elation will be indescribable when we actually reach the pinnacle.

1.Wont happen. After last nights performance, this team has no chance vs Cuse.

2. Wont happen. G-town, Marq, Nova are all well coached teams (unlike SJU) and Providence may surprise.

3. Will likely score a couple for 2014. Wont matter much though.

4. Only if the team is top-25 caliber will this happen.

5. Jakar is gone. Anyone imagining that he will be here as a junior a deluted. i expect 1st team BE 17+ppg 7rpg and increased national attention for him as the season progresses.

6. Only if they can remain unbeaten for remaining OOC and beat Cuse. Highly unlikely

7. Prob a better chance of that than a Lavin coached team ever making a Final-4
