It certainly helps our case.  I'd love to see Wisconsin win the Big Ten now which I don't think is out of the question at all.

Here I was thinking this was going to be an interesting topic about intoxicating spirits, into which I was going to interject a shmaltzy for Crispin Cain's Low Gap Clear Wheat Whiskey, which is simply a delight. Instead this. Just curious: what did you do in the 1 second you saved by typing a KY instead of CONSIN. I imagine over the course of a lifetime these things really add up. Although as Dennis Leary notes, only to the diaper wearing drooling years.

The Badgers are super good, the neutral court loss doesn't really hurt this team at all. And I mean it was a close game for a while in the second half. Shows this team can be competitive with the best out there.

5-0

Very real possibility they can win the Big 10 this year.  I wouldnt want to play them again unless it's a round or two into the tourney and we have to.

You mean no matter what we do and what our record is we go to the NCAA T solely based on what Wisky does ? SWEET!  ;) :)

Now, they are ranked 8 and 9 in the two polls.  Penn St. is not ranked nor are we.   Yet!!!!! NCAA's here we come.

I think you're vastly underrating Penn State.. Granted we shoulda won that game but they looked solid and that kid Frazier looked like a player.. Even the next day they gave Ole Miss all they could handle, and they're probably one of the top four or five teams in the SEC

Frazier is arguably one of the top 2 guards in the Big Ten.  He was second in scoring and first in assists in the Big Ten last year.  Newbill was also an All Big Ten player.  They hsve one of the best, arguably best backcourt in the Big Ten.  Their frontcourt is where they lack, but they are a vy solid team.

I agree. i think Penn St is a good team (although probably not better than Wisky, Mich St, Mich., Indiana, Ohio State etc)  NCAA's here we come!  BTW on another day we beat Penn St and Wisky.

Why did Jakarr Sampson propel himself 5 feet in the air on a pump fake with 6 seconds to go, 25 feet away from the basket while we're leading by two?

The reality is that we should be beating middle-of-the-pack high major teams like Penn State.  It wasn't a "bad loss," but if this team is for real, we need to handle those teams.

With the poor non-conf performance recently, I'm more concerned that the Big East is not a 5 bid conference.  I was thinking that 11-3 non conference with 10-8 in conference plus a BET win is a lock.  Now I'm not so sure.

Newbill and Frazier were every bit as good as you say they were... and Penn State still won 2 league games last season.   Dead last in the Big 10.   They lost 14 straight games at one point.
Stop saying they're a solid team when you didn't watch the game!   They aren't that good.
