Sweet 16 or Big East Championship

Thoughts?

Sure it would be the same.  Big East has had many different looks, before and after we added the football schools.  We are still a too conference overall, and winning would mean a ton.

I believe making it to the Sweet 16 will be better for the program. Big East championship would be good for the school, but the recruits want to dance.

It's all the same when you are winning conference tourneys and dancing in March.  Ask Butler if their National Championship appearances mean less because they were in a "lesser" conference last year?

Sweet 16. NCAA tourney is what everyone remembers.

Not even close Sweet 16.

Maybe in the old Big East I'd rather have a Championship, but now, the luster just isn't the same. Sweet 16 would be amazing.

Sweet 16, we need to work on our sub 500 NCAA record, plus national exposure.
Regardless of who wins the BE this year the champion would be compared to th old BE which everyone agrees that is not the same. Only time and current BE teams being ranked can help turn be page on the lares chapter on he BE.

Sweet 16. If we win the Big East but have a quick out the Big East is going to be deemed weak. If we go to the sweet 16 and we dont win the Big East the Big East is going to be deemed strong.

The best situation would be to do both, but obviously this is a choice between one or the other and it would be best for us to get a sweet 16.

1st round NCAA tourney loss would be great.
