6’10 ’14 Ibrahima Diallo of QEA:
Diallo finished with 8 points but that just begins to tell the story. We saw Diallo last October at the NC Phenom 150 camp and he was just coming off a knee injury. He has always been a “projection” guy and tonight he became a “production” and “potential” player! Diallo is a two handed rebounder and has excellent timing on blocking shots. His length created problems all night for Oak Hill on the interior.

Limited video, but I like this kid.  Big, strong athlete and rebounder.  A little bit raw, but we need a big body that we can bring along.  The video is old, so he might have progressed quite a bit.  Apparently, the main reason interest was low is because he missed his entire Jr year with ACL tear.  Supposedly back to 100% now.  Has offers from Oklahoma, UMass, among others.

We should start seeing more names pop up now that HS seasons are starting.

Diallo possesses an enormous wingspan and has huge hands to go along with his athletic but thin frame. His body could use some bulk, and over time, he should gain the weight needed to be a force in the paint. He is a factor because of his shot-blocking, and he can contest shots when opponents attack the rim. He will rebound at times, but his needs some work in that area. Diallo has the footwork and soft touch in the post, but he must demand the ball more when he's open. He is a the type of player who you always expect more from because of his potential. He recently visited Rutgers and has plans to go to St. John's and Eastern Michigan.

More thank fine.  I far prefer Delarosa actually, as I think he can be quite good with conditioning and college coaching work.  Rutgers is awful.  They need more help than Ibrahima.
