Give Desco a star for Branch penetrating and dishing!!

Like we keep saying though, he made a turnover in transition right after the nice dish to Obekpa.

Gotta live with it.

Watch Lav go and take the press off haha
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Didn't think we could turn this one around. GT is not very good, but still nice to recover. Just have to eliminate these first half blues. Will kill us in BE play! Kudos to Karr for responding after poor first half.

Imagine if we learned to play 40 minutes.
Hell even 35.

We just need to attack from the beginning. We settled from three point far to often early and our defense wasn't aggressive neither.

Hmm

@jeffborzello: St. John's is starting to speed the game up a little. Trapping, more aggressive defense. Length in the lineup.

Not to get too analytical, but a game like is very beneficial psychologically to guys struggling a bit like Karr and Jordan. you can see it in their body language. Big positive!

Wow -  that was a grinder. That start was disgusting.

We need to press the entire game. I seem to recall pressing was KEY during the second half run of Lavin's first year. Can anyone confirm?

Hopefully Sanchez can get untracked. His one nice jumper rimmed out. We need him, but clearly he  deserved to sit today.

Nice win! We needed it. I liked the way we looked after the bad start. I think we figured out our offense a bit in this tournament. Defense looked a lot better in the 2nd as well.
