Hey guys, I rarely post here and prefer reading your opinions and insight on the team. But anyway, I really do believe this team can make some noise this yr. I believe we will make the tournament but what we really need to do is give this team some confidence. If we beat a big time team like the cuse, I think it will give our guys an uber amount of confidence. It starts Saturday against Fordham though. Lets make MSG loud for our first game their and give the johnnies some momentum against the Cuse. We gotta take over MSG and give ourselves a huge home court advantage. See you boys on Saturday. Lets go johnnies

We had better be ready. Fordham might be a garbage school, but they get up for us. Their kids all think our guys got their ships, and they are dead on.

We need a statement win at the garden. Fordham is no walk in the park. Sever needs to be shut down. We should bully them at the garden with our crowd size and talent. Lets get loud Saturday. See you boys there

They are no walk in the park, true, but who is if you don't come out ready to play? It's time for our guys to man up. Literally and figuratively. This is our court, and if we come out and establish the press early it will demoralize them. If we start out in a zone and stay there, I they could and probably would hang around.

I'm thrilled that we only have one more game at Barclays. That place is a real shit hole.

I admire your enthusiasm. I've been trying to get SJU fans off their fannies for decades. I'll be there on Sat. trying for another year. Still, bet Fordham out cheers us.

Fordham lacking in the front court. They have run a three guard, sometimes four guard team so far this year. Johnnies interior need to get it done. Severe, Thomas and Fraizer very good when they are hot.

I did read on the twitter page yesterday that the school is providing buses for students (only one-way, though).  I don't know about anything beyond that, but at least that's something.

They need to be guarded. No zone. They played better than I expected them to against SU's zone. After seeing that, we'd be nuts to think ours would work on them.

The Fordham crowd will be weaker than normal. Their football team is playing a 2nd round playoff game at the same time Saturday at Towson in Baltimore and they are having student bus trips down there and I'm sure many alums will be making the trip too or deciding to stay home and watch both games on TV. Ironically, I will also be going to the Fordham football game and this will be the first Holiday Festival I've missed in 10 years.

Saw Pearl Jam twice there last month. Place is a dump for sure, felt like I was in a college gym

"Out Cheers Us?"  The student body will surely employ the classless tactics of my alma mater (Manhattan) and chant, "F U, F U..."   It's a long time classic - i'm sure the SJ's students have it ready - he he he
