@rumbleSBN: St. John's, Marquette look for winning lineups + identity on Super Saturday. Game preview: #sjubb #mubb http://t.co/qkiT5tG8jC

Prediction
This will be a very good game defensively. Both teams are very athletic but I think the Johnnies get it done on their home floor. St. John's 67 Marquette 62

A win over Marquette is in the cards. You picked a good first game chronicbuck. The Redmen won't disappoint.

Marquette, bowing to the same, condescending philosophy as us, abandoned the Warriors mascot and became the Golden Eagles, quite a while ago.

I like that PAULTZMAN still refers to them as Warriors. Kudos to you.

We are still the REDMEN, TO MOST DIE HARD FANS.

As for the game, both teams are "athletic," a  term that translates to bad shooting.

REDMEN 68

WARRIORS 65  (OT)

We finally win a OT game ...

How come every game is a bad matchup for us?

Because we suck and our coaching staff is lousy!   >:(

I actually think it is a good matchup if we can play up tempo and pressure their guards.  If we allow them to set up in their half court offense, then their bigs may do some damage.

I just looked back and noticed my post.  Astute call on the gameplan!    :coolsmiley:
