Hope Rysheed keeps his head. Gets himself out of the turmoil that seems to surround him, and into a good place. Just watched SJU's video piece on Rysheed. All mentioned his personal strife and it seems to be hitting home constantly for him, which is terrible to hear.
It's not about basketball, but in a way it is. The court is still a place where he can be a kid, a student athlete, a pro and make his own way. Coach Rico said in the video piece "he needs to fall in love with the process of getting better". I think this is true with a lot of brash young kids think their game can just carry them. Seems like he's fighting through and listening because his game is getting a ton better.
I just hope he realizes that he can, and will make it through the tough times. Wish this kid the best and SJu supporters I know are all supportive.
