Big East was nothing when it started...it eventually formed an identity and subsequently evolved into the best and most attractive conference.

We're starting over and will improve...still have the biggest TV markets...may not get back to where we were due to football impact but will definitely rise again

Seth Davis said it in an earlier article this week by Braziller, it really needs SJU to be good.  When SJU starting playing better this year there just seemed to be more a buzz about the league.

No doubt a SJU/Nova game tonight would have brought some juice to the building.

But it is early and we can build a good conference still.

You guys trying to convince yourself or what! If I'm a 16 or 15 seed I'm  dying to play Nova or Creighton.

That's great.  And I am dying to play Kansas and Syracuse and Duke and UNC and Michigan St but none of those teams play in the BE.

Big East  is  awful. How will next year be any better?

Honest question, how many Big East games do you watch?

Why would they aspire to move to the average at best, Big East Conference? Iona should replace Fordham in the Atlantic 10. A10 > Big East

9/10 BE programs are respectable, solid programs. The bottom half of the A10 is garbage. It would be nice to have cupcake conference games throughout the season like the top teams in the A10 do.

A10 about to get 6 teams in. Big East 3. There is no argument

Snapshot, Baldi.  That's one year.  Btw, BE will have 4.

I just don't see how the Big East gets better next year.

Xavier will get in.  Dayton is on the bubble.  Be consistent.

As for next year, Butler and Seton Hall will be better.  Georgetown will get back to where they should be.  SJU will be slightly better.  Nova returns just about everybody and has good players coming in.  Creighton should take a hit but it is a very deep league.

I know you're just trolling but I have nothing better to do today anyway.

Every time the truth is posted, someone gets called a troll. Maybe your next post will add something to the conversation

Btw, I think Iona would do a better job in the A10 than Fordham has.

Average at best BE is still better than below average MAAC no? How many teams is the MAAC getting in this year?

Big East > MAAC

Iona would struggle big time in either the BE or A10.
