He's entering the draft too. Can't leave Jakarr's side. They will be teammates with a Mexican Pro Team next season

No reason for him to stick around when he won't get any PT, his boy JaKarr is gone and he can go to academically better schools

I wish him well.  A nice kid, and obviously a very good shooter, but the game was too fast for him at this level, and I'm happy for him that he realized that. As we saw with Max throughout the year, it's no advantage if you can hit threes, but can't defend anyone on the other side.

If I were him, I'd try to find a similar role in the Patriot League.

Same guy says that the 2015 class is going to be big.  Let's hope he's right about that one.

Call me crazy but I have a lot faith in Lavin at this point.  With all of the departures he has plenty of minutes to offer unsigned HS Sr's, grad transfers, decommits, and JUCO players.  Although it seems like there are not many players out there right now, enough certainly exist to fill the roster spots with good players.  Bring in good players who are not NBA type talents and mix them in with the studs from the 2015 class.

He probably doesn't care about sitting out, he has no pro-ball aspirations and it wont matter what age he graduates at.  i think his motivation for transferring comes from Jakarr leaving and him wanting to be a coach day.  I would be bet he goes somewhere with a really solid coach, he prob figured he wasnt learning x's and o's from Lav

Say what you want, but he hasn't disappointed yet in regard to brining in highly rated talent.

The irony about Max is that if he has coaching aspirations learning from Tommy Amaker (even with a bit of shady recruiting rumors and test taking controversy) was probably going to do him more good.  Amaker recruits well and plays a brand of basketball that doesn't 100% rely on athleticism but on execution.  Also Harvard made the NCAA 2 years running and Max wasn't a part of either team...good luck to the kid wherever he goes  As far as the impact on the Johnnies...I don't think his departure an impact on the court but the impact off the court will be that Lavin can't hold onto players.  We need players that can contribute and be part of the rotation as freshman but want to and expect to be 4 year players....
