also, if we were bringing in an impact grad transfer that would eat phils minutes, then it would make sense for him to redshirt since he would lose the transferring anyway.

Twitter is quiet today. No updates yet, if we had some strong info regarding incoming players i would be happy to part with Obekpa, indications are he is a knucklehead and the rumors of him refusing to play in the 2nd half of BET against Prov seem to true.  No use for guys like that

I sat right across from Johnnies bench in Prov game.  It was pretty clear he was pouting for whatever reason.  Sometimes I forget than these are kids in their teens and low 20's, and sometimes they behave like children.  Unless a clear violation or strong reason, I'd be happy to have him back.  Of course, it doesn't hurt that we are woefully small upfront for next yr as of now.
