I understand how you feel, happyrappy.  I took a break when I couldn't take Linda Mirabella anymore.  I came on to get info when I heard about Obekpa transferring and found out that "she" had been banned.  I know she's still here under a different name but until she starts going crazy again, I will be here.  While I get tired of reading the same posts over and over, as long as the posters are not over-the-top annoying, I am not too bothered by their posts.

There is another prominent poster who has taken time away from the boards for the same reason.  I hope he decides to return soon.  Knowledgeable and reasonable posters, whether they are pro- or anti-Lavin, are a precious commodity.  If they all leave, the boards will be left with nothing but crackpots who take personal shots at players and coaches, rather than people who can discuss and critique basketball and coaching skills without the personal attacks.

Guess you would prefer to still have him. Hey considering what we got you might be right. As for me I don't think it is the monumental job that our University makes it out to be to replace a basketball coach. And not saying Lavs should go just yet but it always seems many posters claim ST J's or should I say Harrington didn't want to get involved in hiring a new BB coach. Is it really that arduous of a task?

Kind of dramatic to create your own thread to announce your departure. At least when Gonzalo departs biannually he deletes his account.

Anyways I think the real point here is to keep diversity in conversation. I get there is plenty to vent about from this season but lets turn the page and discuss some other things. I will take partial blame in not creating some new threads so I will try to be a bit more active here in trying to get some discussion brewing.
