Morgan Park PG Charlie Moore: While he may be unknown on the national scene and often overshadowed by LoVett in his own backcourt, Charlie Moore is a high-level talent and he showed it on Tuesday. Moore can score in bunches, and he finished with 19 points in the contest. The 2016 guard has a smooth stroke from the outside, and he is a skilled finisher around the basket. Like LoVett, Moore is another playmaker in Nick Irvin’s backcourt who has outstanding handles and can carve you up at will. He is small (around 5’10) and needs to continue his development, but Moore is definitely deserving of a close look from high-majors and Big Ten programs.

Of course, we know the previous staff was on him at one point.  I may target him, if I was the staff.  I wouldn't be surprised if LoVett attempts to lure him here, as well.

Do we need another guard under 6 foot? Haven't we already cornered the market on tiny guards with LoVett, Ponds, and Mussini? Unless we know that Mussini is going home to Italy following this season, I'd pass on him.  Prefer someone with Simon's size to add to the rotation, if we can land him.  I'll take a 5 star kid who didn't live up to his potential in his first year and see what he can turn into after a redshirt year practicing with the team and working on his game.
