Is this the latest a schedule has ever come out or are the medications affecting my perception of time and space?

That's it, 30 games and 2 exhibitions.  Full schedule.  And of course the regular season D2 was due to the screw up by the NIT but lets not let the facts get in the way of a good whine.

Good schedule overall. Lots of chances for big out of conference wins and a lot of our lesser opponents are pretty good and should present a good challenge.

What a brutal ending...holy crap.  Last seven games are rough and last two on the road.  Not a lot of easy outs this year in the Big East.

I think Depaul, Seton Hall and Butler will struggle. If there's a season where you're okay ending with tough ones on the road, it's a season where you're loaded with seniors and upperclassmen. And we are.

Exactly are people really questioning the strength of the schedule???  Are you serious?  The Pierce game was a result of the NIT being screwed up, that has nothing to do with SJU.

Everything else is perfectly reasonable and putting games like Long Beach St and St. Mary's with Duke, Minny, Syracuse and probably Gonzaga is terrific.

I mean people cherry picking a few bad teams as if that is a shock or is indicative of the overall schedule demonstrates those people are not fans and never had a clue about SJU to begin with.

Agree it is a good schedule but why do you find it necessary to defend every perceived sling against SJU. You would be more palatable if you picked your spots. Because one disagrees doesn't mean they are not fans. Although I may disagree with you on many occasions I do not question your fandom.
