Georgia connection of Chuck Mitchell and Trayvon Reed might help Turgeon snag Carter.  Terps need serious help at the PF slot going into 2015 season.

Marillac will not like  this part of article;

"St. John's hopes the Red Storm program will have an appeal for a player like Carter. Stave Lavin's scheme allows big men to take deep shots (think of Orlando Sanchez' role or Jakarr Sampson's shot selection), and Lavin can sell a track record of getting players to the professional ranks."

Who knows, lol. His rebounding stats are good.

Carter finished the last six ACC games after his injury with 16/8 per... He has a really nice shot, and likes being physical down low.

Sunday is graduation day at SJU.  Unlikely he visits that day but according to Zags he is set to visit soon:

BTW-You want to know a connection between SJU, MD and South Carolina?  They are all Under Armour schools...Interesting.

This kid is a BEAST….he has so much potential its scary. Don't care what his stats were coaches think he has program changing ability and he is a high priority.

MD recruited him hard out of HS, wound up getting Chuck Mitchell.  That being said, I'm guessing Lavin and Turge are selling him hard on NYC and DC, and all the good exposure he'll get.  Or Carter gets to play for the maniac.

How close is UMD to DC?

Pretty close, the Metro actually goes to College Park.

Yep - a UMD shuttle takes one to campus within 3 min.  There has been talk for a while to extend Metro right through campus, but not approved yet.  Good and bad to that idea imo.
