Didn't play much. Was also suspended late in season for pot smoking incident.

Who knows if visit referenced will ever happen? When confirmed by SJU, I will believe it.

Rector is considering St. John’s, Boston College, La Salle and Drexel.

why is he transferring..?

The coach that recruited him left...three leading scorers this past season were 6'5 guards (two will be back)...they have a stud top 75 freshman PG that got 20 minutes to his 4.5...they just added a top 75 SG for 2014...and he was suspended for smoking pot.  It could be any of those or a combination.  I just don't understand why he would have committed six months after the #14 PG in the country committed knowing they already had a five-star SG and two other experienced guards with at least two years left.

I'm not thrilled, but I'd like to add a PG or combo that help bridge the 2015-2016 season without scaring away Briscoe or other tops players.

Exactly. He won't scare anyone off, but might be good enough for what we need him for.

The odds are we will loose Jorden, need a backup PG.

Most of this is correct but I want to point out that BOTH Jabari Brown AND Jordan Clarkson are gone early entry.
