Perhaps the Liny/medium story got me a little nostalgic but just wanted to say thanks to all of you for making this community so awesome. Lets go St. John's!

Congrats Dave, and thanks to everyone who co tributes to this site. I can honestly say my knowledge of SJU BBall has greatly increased from this site.

Crazy to think I was a punk 16 year old high school student when I joined and now I'm a double alum.

Dave, thanks for overseeing (along with your fellow moderators) a site that is informative, humorous and friendly.  Coming in as a out of town newbie in '11, the board was most gracious in taking me in despite my occasional quirky joke or video.  Thanks board!

Newer posters may not realize this but when this site opened, Redmen.com was closed to new members and anyone who spoke ill of Norm would get the boot. This was it as far as independently operated fan site forums went (BEB was on its last legs when this site opened). I learned so much about the school, team and basketball in general on this site and it has been my go-to site to pass the time for 1/3 of my life. I remember the first game I followed on here was a game vs Tulane in some weird Hawaii tournament in 2007. Game wasn't on tv if I remember correctly so everyone was following on some wacky Internet radio feed. It was a brutal game and I was hooked.

BEB is thriving now that the riff raff have been exiled.

Thank you Dave for a great site, I was a longtime member and frequent poster at redmen when I came over here and never looked back. Don't post much these days but read ths forums all the time. You have built a great community of fans and I assume younger fans which was always the goal to get new blood interested in St Johns basketball.  Looking forward to the next 8 years and more.
