ESPN reporting Big 10 tourney to be played at MSG in 2018. One week before Big East tourney.  What's next, the PAC 12 tourney at MSG?

One week before the BE tourney seems very strange. The B10 champ game has been on selection sunday afternoon for as long as i can remember

From the ESPN boards, B10 fans are not happy about that either.

They're really stretching for the whole the whole east coast thing. At least I feel like they're not trying to kill the Big East.

Their teams will all have close to 2 weeks in between their conference tourney and NCAA tourney games. Odd setup.

Could this possibly lead to Big 10 picking up UConn?

Doesn't the Big 10 want to go more south for football recruiting purposes? As pointed out on these boards before, the Big 10 has a recruiting problem in its home turf because not as many five-star football kids are being produced in those areas.

I think they need to go south as you point out.  This might just be throwing a bone to RU and the Terps since they do some recruiting up that way.  Terps should be looking for the next Boomer in the Tri-state area -  :2funny:

Hearing MSG putting in a bid for the World Cup. Does show that NYC remains the Capital of the college hoops world.
