Why doesn't Jamal Branch drive more?

Is there a reason why he doesn't drive to the hoop every damn time down the floor?

Great question. Agree with you, don't know why he doesn't more often. One thing I also wanted to mention is I think his defense this year has finally lived up to the billing it had.

I think Branch has had such a short leash that when he made a mistake in the past he'd get yanked. He makes the occasional mistake but he does boom more than he busts when given the opportunity. Lefty layup is so smooth. 

it's pretty obvious branch is on short leash.  he's the only one that pretty much automatically gets subbed if he turns ball over.  i'm sure he has that top of mind.

He gets pulled when he tries to get too flashy and makes stupid turnovers. He would have been pulled last night when he tried that spin move in the lane around 3 defenders if we weren't short handed.
