Think we are better also but its close. We are much better then everyone else. 

I think next year is the year the program really takes off. 

Posted in a different thread, but think that Nova has more legit scoring options than we do. And plays smarter. We need to match their intensity on the boards.

I think it's a three horse race...can't exclude Georgetown.  Only cupcake is DePaul.  I fear the league will beat each other up.  Need to finish top 3 in league.  Providence has a lot of talent as well.

Depaul is bad real bad. Agree most of the league will beat each other up because they aren't good either. Seton hall without whitehead is no threat. I have seen providence a few times wasn't impressed. Butler is not awful, but not good. Creighton is closer to bad then good. Marquette isn't supposed to be good. Xavier have not seen. I think G-town is good but clearly behind us and Nova. Schedule is very favorable going forward. Confidence is big. Think the team is gaining more each and every game. Seton Hall losing whitehead doesn't have much a chance. This may sound crazy, but I think we blow them out.  Butler playing in a sold out Alumni hall doesnt have much a chance either.

Saying another team doesn't have a chance is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

They have only played one road game so far. Winning games on the road isn't easy in the Big East.

Saying they don't have a chance is wrong. Still losing to Seton Hall  would be a bad loss and would be extremely disappointing. The Rock won't exactly by a hostile environment. With Whitehead think the game could have gone either way. Without him.

We are playing well, but not so good to take any BE game for granted, perhaps excluding DePaul. Tough, competitive league.

Anyone in league can beat anyone else in my opinion, including DePaul.
Just got to find a way to split with Nova Xavier Georgetwon Seton Hall Butler Providence and sweep DePaul, Marquette, and Creighton

I just noticed that as of today, we have the worst 3pt% in the conference and we're second to last in fg%.

Has a team ever won the Big East and been statistically the worst shooting team?
This is something that is going to have to change if we want to keep winning.   

And in other statistical notes: we officially have the best free thow defense in the country.  Teams are shooting 55.8% from the line against us, worst in the country.

Anyone remember the Carnesecca Arena free throw theory from a few years back when opponents were lighting it up there from the line and we couldn't hit anything?

The flipside to those stats though is that we're first or 2nd in every defensive category: fg%, 3pt%, steals, blocks
and good defense is less streaky, so we've got a solid foundation.
