Life is a stage and this is one Broadway play that Dlo does not want to miss.  He never stops hustling, his desire is huge.  He WILL be in there because he will convince Lavin that he can be effective and that the pain and injury is minor.  He is a WARRIOR and warriors show up for battle.  He strikes me as the type of guy who, when floored by a head shot and is heading for the line, tells his opponent with a smile, thanks, I don't run with my head

A week before the Superbowl, Coach K going for a 1000 win at MSG, the city is buzzing, big chance for his team to make a statement, no way he misses this game.

This game is somewhat of a golden ticket.  A win can make up for multiple less BE wins.  Duke was destroyed by miami at home.  They are beatable and it would be crazy for him to sit unless he simply cannot do anything physically.

I know how today will likely end, but I'm pumped.  Coach K can get win 1000 against ND on wed.  Go St. John's!!!!!

You'd have to tie DLo down to keep him off the court tomorrow.

I've got visions of Willis Reed dancing in my head.
I've got visions of Isaiah Thomas.  Thomas was not only inspirational, but put up 25 on one leg in that 3rd quarter.  One of the best performances by an injured player I've ever seen.

That being said, if DLo does play and experiences enough pain to render him ineefective, or if Duke starts out gangbusters, he should be immediately sat down.  I can see not playing him at all if further worsened injury is highly possible.

I love that they are letting them play.  A closely called game would kill us.
