In general I'm not a big fan of punishing people for what they think or say - Desco

Now what they wear, a different story.....

yup.   how you dress for work matters when you're on national tv.

Why are grown men...including senior citizens...reading some teenager's private posts anyway?

Because the teenager performs on national tv and is covered by the ny media.

There are new forms of communication newsie, what qualifies as sports related news isn't decided by Red Smith sitting in the Herald tribune offices smoking stogies.

clear as day:  lavin bending over backwards to do anything to win to keep his job. excuse he gives to admin and his wife is that he is doing it for the seniors.  but not.  and the poor kids know they have to suck it up and kiss rj's butt to get a chance to make the dance.  prediction:  once we lose a few more games, the loser quits, and when the loser is done, we start to play better.  too late for the dance, but nonetheless, go into BET with a legitimate shot.

In general I'm not a big fan of punishing people for what they think or say, no matter how insulting their message may be.  Words are just that.

On the other hand, Jordan has seemingly broken several team rules this season.  That to me is the far greater sin in this situation.
Words are just words if people think your a top hoopster. If a young person puts the wrong words on the internet it could cost him entrance to college or a job interview which he thought he aced. I guess words can be more then words. In the 2012 election cycle a couple of dopes cost themselves senate seats because of words. Of course they were real nice persons.

After he entered the game, the first play Sheed skied above everyone on the court for a rebound. And they had him on Dunn most of the time he was in. This is a guy who was so hurt he couldnt play Wednesday? Not exactly breaking news, but no f**ing way was he hurt. At all.
