Xavier game 1

Need to split the next 2 games. Rather we get this game, then play at Georgetown with house money.
After last nights game with those refs, why i get the feeling Jim Burr will ref this game?

Steve Lavin just called Chris Obekpa's injury a "high ankle sprain." Sounds iffy for Xavier on Saturday, too #sjubb

Need Joey to be able to play some minutes. I would start him, hoping he can play 10/12 minutes vs Xavier and g-town. Hoping he can play and not kill us.

Cannot start with the small lineup against Xavier.  The game could get out of hand very, very quickly if we aren't knocking down shots.  If Chris can't go, we need Amar, JDR and Jones to play and throw their bodies around.

Gotta worry more about Bluett, Dee Davis and Myles Davis killing us from the outside more that Stainbrook down low.  This is a very tough matchup for us.

I can see Joey playing a lot of minutes, he matches up well with Stainbrook.

Joey and Christian and Amar rotating at a 5 position, Dom 4, and 3 guards.

Bluett and their guards are good but ours can matchup with them. Stainbrook and Reynolds killed us last year.  They are the problem and stainbrook will likely eat JDR alive in extended minutes or get him in foul trouble. We need CO to play and contributions from Amar plus JDR or Jones in small doses.

Johnny Hodges - 69
Xavier Cugat     - 68

I don't really believe that we can beat Xavier on the road,  but we've got to have one of these next two roadies and winning in DC is daunting as well so this be it.

I badly want this group of seniors to dance.  Not for us but for themselves.  To have a 2200 and 1300 point scorer in the same class and never make the tournament is unfathomable.

Dom will reach 1k as well if he keeps at his current pace.

1,000 points and 700 rebs didn't bother to look it up but I would think that is pretty good company he would be in

I got all pumped up for this game and it looks like another Butler experience could be coming.
