Game day predictions!

Game day, all!  I'm officially mentally checked out of work, and 6:40 (Pacific Time) can't come soon enough!  Hope there are some good games going on today to keep our minds occupied, and I really hope Duke lays an egg so the winner of our game has a straight shot to the sweet 16.  With that said, My money in Vegas is on SDSU finding some sort of offensive rhythm and pulling this one out 65-56.

Rysheed has been on a roll lately and watching tape on your team i can see he is just the kind of guard who will give you fits. 6'5 slasher who penetrates and can finish and draw contact. Dom needs to be Dom and put up one of his Costco games for us. This game to me all depends on the outside shooting of phil, Dlo and RJ. We will most likely be out rebounded but I have seen this senior group come up with big games when the bright lights are on ( Gonzaga, Duke, Syracuse , ect) . man to man actually plays to our strength. I think the final is 59-51 SJU.

St. John's gets hot early and is up by close to 20 at one point. SDSU can't recover quickly enough despite a second half surge with many second and third chance points.

Rysheed goes for 22, 6, and 6 to lead the way.  Zach Braziller asks Rysheed after the game if he's going pro.  Lavin pulls a John Cheney/John Calipari and starts yelling "I'LL KILL YOU".  Lavin is suspended for the next game, resulting in oddsmakers changing the line from Duke -12 to Duke -4.

Realistically, I don't think SDSU scores enough to blow anyone out.  We win if we're on or they win a close one if we can't make shots.

This is a horrendous matchup for us.  They have more athleticism than us which is usually our one strength and they play great defense.   Also have a lopsided advantage on the sidelines.

If Harrison comes to play and we win the turnover battle, we win. If not, we lose. I think SDSU wants to play an up tempo game on offense and man to man on defense, which bolds well for us. Could not have asked for a better match up. We win a stinker, both teams shoot below 40%. With Obekpa out, I would like to see us run the 1-3-1 again. We had a lot of success running it earlier in the year, not sure why we stopped.

I agree. Really hoping that the fact we are now in the tournament allows D'Lo to take a deep breath and go back to playing loose. Seemed so uptight the last few games.

8 days rest will mean a lot.  DLO and Jordan's ability to draw fouls will enable us control the game down the stretch and win it 66-57

This is what I think. I can't see how a really good coach like Fisher isn't just going to exploit our obvious huge weakness.
