Whack Back at Vac

Tim Slavin: I support Steve Lavin. Besides, unless Billy Donavan wants to move back to Rockville Centre, who would we hire?
Vac: If I was the man with the big desk at St. John’s, my list would start with the names: Archie Miller and Danny Hurley.

@BobbyBroad: Props to D’Angelo Harrison, tough-nosed player. St John’s alumni stand up, he represented.
@MikeVacc: He also serves as a guidepost for many coaches: Sometimes, you really CAN reach even the hardest-to-reach kids.

His whole life Danny Hurley has had to walk in his big brother’s shadow, and it’s happening again. But if I had a coach to hire and I were picking from the Hurley tree — assuming the old man wasn’t interested, of course — I’d call Danny.

I’m really going to miss watching D’Angelo Harrison play.

Tim Slavin? Slavin like in S Lavin, like in Steve Lavin?  :)
