Hurley, Pitino, Mas
« on: March 29, 2015, 11:51:30 AM »
I dont believe Mullin was interested, so big $ Alumns are going to have to drop a huge nut to get Pitino. Looks like he wants to come. So does Hurley. Masiello is 3rd option I would say. Some great options there,  going to be a great week

Isn't Pittino busy right about now and all of last week?

Not busy enough to talk about St Johns

I can't buy that Pitino would listen unless we make him the richest coach in the country which we can't do. Can't see Louisville not stepping up to make sure they keep him if there was a significant push by any other school.

Also, does Hurley at some point get tired of it dragging along and the school looking elsewhere or does he want the job that badly that he will take it no matter what?

Baldi, do you think Hurley will be able to recruit effectively outside the NY Metro area?

Wishful thinking, would love to see him bring Matthews and Hassan Martin with.  Geeedy

Definitely can't hurt to go after Pitino, however they should only do it if they're looking to pay a coach 6 mil a year like he's getting at Louisville, which they won't be able to do.  No need to half ass it, only do it if you're serious.  Even if they were, it's hard to see him leaving.

I think you're wrong about Mullin Baldi.
I think the job is his.   But we'll see

It's exciting when Baldi and Desco disagree.  When do you guys think we'll know something definitive?
