Almost all the turnover quite frankly are non-issues.Delarosa brothers either hardly played or didn't play at all. Stewart was a walk-on. The recruits are players who hadn't played yet. Sampson we all know the staff wanted him. Doughty was solid but Ellison is more than a reasonable replacement.Bottom lin is the 3 players we all wanted when the coaching change happened with regards to who they inherited were: 1) Jordan return, 2) Obekpa to return and 3) Sampson to stay committed. #3 stunk but hardly the end of the world. 2 out of 3 is not bad.Everyone else quite frankly is more than replaceable. And the recruiting has been solid and can and will get better both this year and next.
Quote from: Happy on April 24, 2015, 07:34:14 PMThis has been in the works for awhile.. Kid is going to be good and 100% wanted to be here. New staff has a plan and hopefully we get ellison to offset this loss .Seems harsh to cut a kid loose who signed an LOI and wanted to be here, but guess that's the business. Assume the plan has to do with 2016 SG target(s).

Again, posters on the ledge. relaxxxx
On the recent posts tab on the left, all I saw was "Doughty released by Marco Baldi." Got a good chuckle out of it.
Who would you rather have Ellison or Doughty? Btw, we do have Jay Henderson

He's not going to roll out three 6'3 guys like Lavin. I think Ellison will be a smarter player and easy kid to coach. Doughty, though, I wi t write off. Kid can get his. I hope he finds a good fit and shines.
@R_Miller12: Butler is the latest school to show interest for 2015 Math, Civics & Sciences (PA) G Samir Doughty. @_BigTicket20
Or maybe this guy is just blowing smoke out of his arse to prop up his player.
