He will be much better off when we have a true point guard to handle the ball. Mussini can play some point but he should never be the primary ball handler for the team. Playing off the ball he would be able to get his shot off much easier. I am not sure what position he has played in his career but he looks very uncomfortable at point guard. Also moving him off the ball would allow him not guard opposing point guards and could hide his defense more.

If he doesnt guard the PG he guards the SG.

Well duh yea. Not sure what your point is. My point is guarding the primary ball handler is more difficult in most cases.

SG- usually the scorer. Usually the harder player to guard.

PG- usually the quickest player on the floor.

Lets just get it out there.
Mussini is the slowest guard to ever play D1 basketball.

And he hasn't even played D1 basketball yet, only D2.

Looks like we have ourselves a scapegoat. :)

It's a bit unfair to scapegoat a freshman who's learning the non-international game.  Hey, this is New York.  It's one reason players don't want to come here.

I'm less concerned with his turnovers, and more concerned with his crying. Grow some.

He's not the slowest ever, not even close. I'd like to see him and D Harrison in a foot race.

He wasn't that quick either.  But, then again, Looie might have benched anyone who tried to run.
