What I Want from Maui

1 win.  And that being a win against a team not named Chaminade

I know that sounds bad but that's all I'm really expecting.  Setting the bar low you might call it.  That's perfectly fine to me.

We play Vandy a team that returns a lot including a 1st Rd Center and a load of shooters.  If we lose and the likelihood is we will, that will leave us facing the loser of Indian and Wake.   Indiana will be the favorite there which puts us in a match-up with Wake which is more than winnable.  Depending on that win or loss that will leave us with the loser of UNLV and UCLA and Chaminade.  To me it's winning the Wake game and then last game is house money.

Wake lost to Richmond last night by 9 at home. They also barely squeaked out a 5pt win over UMBC.

We're definitely on the right side of the bracket, I'd much rather play the winner/loser of Indiana/Wake than UNLV/UCLA.

Will it help your outlook?  If so, I'm sure there is someone on here that will do it for free so you stop sucking the life out our fan base.  Like it's already not hard enough to cheer for St. John's without your constant negativity.

Being negative about SJU basketball is like choosing some random fat guy at the gym as your favorite body builder and constantly bashing him as his tries to comeback from ten years of sitting on the couch drinking beer.

What do you do in the off season?  Heckle dogs at the vet before they are put down?

I would like at least one win in Maui. Anything more would be fantastic but a lot to ask for from this team at this point in their development. The biggest thing to keep seeing improvement, even if we lose I would like to see us play better then we did for most of that Rutgers game when we were constantly hurting ourselves. Looking forward to see how we matchup Monday and hope we have our full squad healthy.

Why would anyone live in a backwater where you can't just walk outside and buy some dope. You should consider moving somewhere more cosmopolitan, like Anchorage or Walla Walla.

And now SJU gets to play a pissed off legit top 15 team in Indiana...Good luck guys!!!! LOL!!!

It is what it is, they will take their lumps this year.  Don't sweat it, just enjoy the effort and look forward to much better times very soon.
