noboby is going anywhere till 17-18.  By then the backcourt will be defined and crowded.  Mussini could go pro in Italy and Lovett or Ellison might transfer due to lack of PT.  From what I have seen of Ponds he is the one definite 4 year guy.  Mussini will be excellent but the money in Europe may lure him.

So, the money for Mussini in Europe may lure him. He can't guard NJIT and Incarnate Word, but there's still money for him as a pro in Europe. But Rysheed Jordan doesn't have a chance to play in Europe because of his attitude problem. Hmm.

Yeah, posted probably 500 times that was just a random date I threw out because of my distrust of the NCAA

Maybe not, but at least he has the ability to. Mussini is a better shooter than Geno Lawrence. Outside of that, who's better?

Why don;t you buy a team in Europe and build it around Sheed.

Nah, I'm going to wait until Durand Johnson becomes available. He's my star.

It is bizarre. I wonder where this rumor originated. See what happens but I won't give it anymore credence until we hear something for sure.
Obviously the decision to transfer has already been made, since he hasn't been sitting with his teammates at games. It's not about a rumor.  Why isn't he sitting with his teammates?  That's the only thing I could think of when I saw that.  Now why he would transfer is beyond me since he brings to the team everything that they need for next year.  Why would he have come here?  Why would you sit out an extra semester?   Makes no sense.

Three HS's in four years is pretty telling as far as his character goes. That's a bad prognosis as far as loyalty to teams goes.  Kids like this usually don't pan out for the schools they commit to. At least statistically, as there are always exceptions to everything.

Maybe he can't sit on bench as a partial qualifier?

FWIW, Wednesday, Jan. 20th, is the first day of classes for the 2nd semester.  Students are still in mid-semester break until then, although you would expect members of the team who are physically able to be working out with the team.  At any rate, if the deadline for transferring and not losing another full year of playing time is this Friday, should be clear what's going on in 3 days at the latest.

Baldi just got back from Wisconsin the day this rumor started. I think it's pretty obvious Baldi's source is Bobby Dassey.
