If Mussini can shoot - he looks like he can but they don't go in and we've had players who look like they could shoot before - what else does he do well. Seriously. I think Gerry Mac had to play point his 4 years?  It's tough getting your shot off as a freshman point, and SJU doesn't havent anything resembling Carmello. Right now, I see Ahmed as a question mark(eligibility wise) and Ponds and Lovett haven't set foot on the college court yet.

Listed at 6-2 185 and had much better handle. Different player.

Loved James Scott, he was money his senior year. Dopey Brian Mahoney. Felipe Lopez, Zendon, Roshown McLeod, Rowan Barrett, Charles MInlend, Scott and Tarik Turner went 14 and 14. And I didn't even mention Tom Bayne. They'd beat this team 99 times out of 100.

I have mentioned this before but he and Lopez did not get along and not having a point guard severely hurt that team. Stick Eric Barkley on that team and it is a Sweet 16 at least.

The NBA offense is not designed for a spot up three point shooter to be the leading scorer. If he is, something is wrong. I'm not excrementing on Mussini or ignoring the difficulties under which he labors but on a good team he should not be the leading scorer in the natural course of things. A team on which he is will not be very good.

I think he he will be a good player on a good team. Just don't think you can be successful with him as your 1st or 2nd best player.

I'm not expecting a top 6 big east team next year. Rawle and Thon, maybe

Mussini is better than Ellison. Ellison is awful. They will both get better. Neither looks to me like they will explode in the near future. It took Dom Pointer three and a half years to explode and he was a specimen.

Because Pointer didn't take his first 2 years seriously and was coached by a nice person.  This year will pay off for Mussini

How is he going to stay on the court if he can't guard his man? I think with hard work he could develop into what Max Hooper is doing for Oakland now, but Mussini has so much to work on this summer. Let's hope he agrees.

I like Mussini. Think he will be a good 4 year player. Think he would be good off the bench as a 3pt specialist. Glad we are getting Ponds and Lovett next year. I think Ponds is a more complete player than Mussini.    Bashir gets my vote for most PT.

Exactly my thinking. Don't think he will be our best player but might score the most.

Mussini is a 6th man at best next season.   

Gotta go Ahmed as he may get decent minutes and has demonstrated JUCO ability to score...  Still Big East and some other tough early season comp will be a new level.

Ellison hasn't been great, but he seems to me like the kind of guy that needs to make a few adjustments and he can be really good. He is already developing the ability to create his own shot, and he is big enough to play inside a bit. He's also pretty fast and has pretty good handles for a guy his size. I think his skill set just hasn't translated to the NCAA like Mussini, and say what you want about him, but he is averaging over 10+ a game.

When you watch Ellison try to get into the lane you really get the feeling that he had absolutely no plan for when he got there. He needs to learn how to play, but you're right. He has some talent. It's just ridiculously raw.
