I had to look up the name Danny Finn. 

He played for the Philadelphia Warriors for 3 years in the early-to-mid 50s.   Played 12 games for SJU in the 1948-49 season, averaging 8.2 ppg.  6-1 guard.  That's the only year I could find any stats for him, as that's the furthest back the college basketball page at sports-reference.com goes to re:stats.  He passed away in 2007.

but between Rawle getting the royal treatment at MSG last night, and the rest of the team getting this surpise today, would have been great if Shamorie Ponds was able to attend and meet the Warriors on campus too.
