Texas Tech per Zags.

According to Borzello he left Texas Tech to head back to NY. Haven't seen anything else about it. I know we were on his final list, but I don't don't think we were really pursuing him., and it doesn't sound like we should have beenhttp://twitter.com/#!/jeffborzello
Maybe he got to Lubbock and was like "what the hell was I thinking moving to a dust bowl?" From all accounts (from people FROM Lubbock), there's not a lot of appeal.
Wouldn't be surprised if Lavin might try to get Daouda to walk on this year.

I think we have 1 more scholi we can give for this year, the problem would be next year.

If he did he might have to sit a year anyway.Could he Prep now (as had been speculated previously) & reopen recruitment & change to 2012 ?Tech last second signed a 6'11" transfer from Canada that might have influenced Daouda's thoughts.Below is the Texas Tech forum talking about him leaving- not much info- but he was there for summer classes.http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=188&f=1651&t=7891934
