If Dunlap re-joins us I see us going to the Sweet 16.

Moose - in your opinion - any chance whatsoever we get him back for a year?

Don't see it happening

Moose is probably right. Although I hope he isn't. Its one thing to go from a div2 head coach to div 1 assist, but  its much different going from an NBA head coach to a college assistant coach. But stranger things have happened.

Probably not as strange as going from Div. 1 Asst. Coach to NBA Head Coach though!

If he sits out the beginning of the season though, doesn't that put him in a better position to get a head-coaching gig in December if somebody fires their coach after getting off to a slow start?

Not a lot of jobs open up during the year.  I'd love to bring him back and the current staff would understand he's only here for a year or two max.

He's at that point where his reputation as a hard nosed kick ass coach precedes him. Someone who is not a players coach. Right or wrong, Nuri, Malik, D'lo all had their problems with him. And an owner ( albeit misguided ) has fired him after tripling his win totals in one year.

Not saying he isn't a good coach just that he may find it more difficult to jump back into a major program right now.

As predicted and right on schedule.  Just an interim caretaker and an abasive one at that. Not NBA material.
