Penn St.'s top scorer had four fouls for the last ten minutes plus and we never went at him.

Just curious that there will a remembrance planned  for Pearl Washington at the Syracuse-Georgetown  game. Wouldn't it make sense to have a Brooklyn native and N.Y.C. basketball legend remembered at the St. John's game because Pearl is linked to so many great St. John's players ( Chris, Mark, Walter etc...) because of their shared N.Y.C. roots. While the Syracuse-Georgetown rivalry was memorable in Big East history, the rivalry between the Orangemen and Redmen shouldn't take a back seat. Hope we can make three in a row and get to hear Jimmy B whine at the post game press conference once again.

IDK what the protocol is for something like that. I remember where I was when I saw the ticker about Malik. I was sick from it.

Iona has an open spot on their schedule and I heard we might be pleasantly surprised with a local team. Hmm

Exactly. Saint John's deserves to share in the limelight of Pearl's tragic and untimely death. And what do we get? Bupkis. Life can be so unfair sometimes.

IDK what the protocol is for something like that.

The protocol is that the deceased's family and friends decide how the deceased will me memorialized and everyone else shows up at the appointed time dressed in black and afterwards says sorry for your troubles. The protocol is not that everyone who knew the guy drags the corpse around the cemetery and holds their own funeral.

Oh, so that's what happens at a funeral. Thanks.

Not sure how that's pleasant or surprising.  Sorry Baldi.

Agreed. I guess the "pleasantly surprised" part is that Iona actually getting a home OOC game scheduled

They deserved to win that game. Their pg ate Mussini alive. I'm sure we'll get NJIT back on the schedule just as soon as they are the patsy again that they were under Norm Roberts.
I actually think that Iona has a lot of question marks this season. They could have a down a year. Washington is very good. He's a manchild, and unfortunately, he's also a child. English did everything for that team. There's no one that I can see who is capable of replacing half of what he gave them. I think they're a CBI team this year.
