Sure he'll be good...as long as he avoids picking up five fouls in small minutes of action.  He and Sima are foul machines.

I'm glad to be wrong on this kid (so far) and hope to be proven even more wrong as time goes on. He might be my favorite player. I can't remember a big man playing that hard since Grant. If Ellison played half as hard, we would have won.

I can't believe I feel so good about Owens and still feel down about our front court. Yakwe has been on incredibly disappointing and these guys don't have the hands to take advantage of the dimes from Ponds and Lovett. 

I would caution ya'll on Yakwe. He's very raw. I seen little semblance of an offensive game from him. I heard the comparisons and believe they are a bit ambitious. He's an athletic freak. But we've seen athletic freaks with better offensive games not sniff the NBA. I wouldn't blame the staff, only so much they can do. Sometimes the player either has it or not. Similar to Dom, bigger, but not big enough and more offensively challenged. He will be a solid four year contributor.

That's what I've been saying on here for a while. The offensive struggles for the bigs will continue throughout the season. They need someone to work with Yakwe and Sima to refine their low post games, or more simply give them some game on O.

Sima, Yakwe, Owens and Ahmed all have very little experience. Let's see who learns from the staff. Still just 3 games in. I'm hopeful that they'll come out tomorrow with more focus.

Ahmed needs to learn he won't be able to bully players at this level. He would benefit if he caught the ball 8-10ft from the basket instead of 20. That is on the staff to figure out.

Yes, I think that's pretty clear. He does what Alpha Bangura used to do where he gets the ball 30 feet out and tries to dribble through 5 guys. Still, he's aggressive and hopefully he just needs to get used to a high major D1 game. Nothing close where he's been.
