Big East Tournament

Well it comes down to this. We couldn't have asked for a better path.

4 games in 4 days on our floor to dance. If Ponds goes Kemba and they win the tournament, it will be the single greatest sports moment of my life.

Even if they don't do the implausible, I'd be really happy to see a win or two and some grit.

This team has shown it can beat anybody. Hopefully they have a complement of 8 healthy bodies. The past few games they’ve been competitive with Amar in the game, so spotting him and maybe yakwe some minutes to give some guys a breather can give us enough to make a four game run. Would love to see it and don’t think it’s impossible. Let’s go redmen!!!

+1 especially on spotting Yakwe some minutes as our first two potential opponents he matches up pretty well with.

Get Ponds and Yakwe healed up and play loose.  Nothing to lose, and this team can actually beat anybody so nothing to lose here.

Shockingly I agree. Amar has been good. Even more surprised that he is an asset on defense.

If Lube didn't play in Rhode Island with J. Cole getting big minutes while he wasn't puking into a bucket or in the bathroom with diarrhea with Tony posting in the adjacent stall...then something is up.

Is Yakwe the worst 4 year top 100 recruit we’ve had? He was better is in his very first game than he is now.

I think it’s close between him and Diakite.

I like you Carmine but only an idiot can fail to see that what Amar gave relative to expectations was super productive. His statline will never tell the story. He played like a legitimate Big East player and played Bullock almost even which is a miracle.

Agree with your point that what Amar gave was way more than could have been expected. Prov. was better than Butler as it's hard for me to get too excited about 0 for 5.  Unfortunately for us his play this season before these last two would be best described as sub par.

I would have switched out the adjective "super" with "surprisingly".
