Hey you get beat like that then some jawing is par for the course. I don't like mack having his team dunk up 25 on last possession but shit, this is big time college basketball. As for his post game comments, that was a bitch move and mullin would slap him around.
Not defending Mack overall but I do think I saw him indicate to his team to let the shot clock run out without shooting but player did it on his own.

It would not shock me if we get an invite to the NIT.  The wins against Duke and V were impressive and the 17K crowd Wednesday is an indication that including SJU is a moneymaker.  As Boeheim  said when moving to the ACC against his wishes, "its all about the Money".  If SJU made it to the Garden, a not unlikely scenario, there would be sellouts.

It would very much shock me haha, they don't have to be .500 or above for NIT but they've never had an under .500 team play and there will be plenty of .500 teams to pick from.

Big East senior associate commissioner Stu Jackson told CBS Sports that the Big East is reviewing internal security footage at MSG to determine if St. John's players attempted to approach Xavier's players near or in their locker room immediately after both teams left the court.

Maybe St. John's can get the Archbishop to intervene and secure us an invite.

Lol at Mack in the postgamer saying that we "wouldn't stop talking" GTFO here this is basketball you talk all day
Plus X is consistently instigating, including today.  I look forward to Earlington putting a body on the next JP Macura in the future.

Sounds like ponds will be back from hs comments. He needs to come back. You can’t shoot 25% from 3 in college at 6 ft tall and make the nba. He needs another year for sure. Lineup next year? Ponds, Dixon, Simon, Clark and Keita. Any feelings on Owens think he might be a guy to leave if anyone
Just lost Ahmed to graduation. Lose ownes also and you think we improve?

Owens would be crazy to go.  He has developed nicely and wont be featured nearly as much in another offense.

Now that is The Big East I remember
Would have preferred they got tough on the boards all fing season than acting like a bunch of thugs after a game. (couldn't access article so that is if they were the ones trying to get into X locker room to escalate the hostilities).

Stop.  These kids have played their a**es off and brought us some great moments this year.  I'm tired of not making the dance but I'll never call the kids who've been playing the last few months an embarassment.

More embarrassment.

This one is over.  Hopefully, we can still find our way into the NIT.

Season's over

Correct.  Accept the fact that, despite some late season wins, this season and the overall year 3 of the Mullin era has been a serious disappointment.  Get started on making sure next year is a MAJOR leap forward both thru some retention in the current roster and perhaps some new additions going forward both for '18 and beyond.
Agree. I don’t think he makes many changes . I am hopeful everyone come back. Hopefully we get a few older players that are ready to contribute immediately.

Find a big and a guard/swingman and one or two assistant coaches.
