I'm 58. You're only 20 percent wrong, which is much closer than your usual guesses.

I am aware. Maybe not clever. But I am effective. Not expecting to be loved like you are. But I amuse myself. Enjoy the cupcakes. Real season starts on the 29th.

Maybe not clever.

Yes, maybe not. Anyway, being that Dave has asked that I no longer call you names and being that being called names is about all you're good for I don't think we have anything left to talk about. Good day.

We're ranked higher than Nova.  Sweet.

Finally we're at Nova's level.

No way.  I know we're not at Nova's level.  They have Joe Cremo.

Need GT, Cal, Rutgers, and VCU to get some W's before conference play.

Meh, GT, Rutgers and Cal are in power conferences so they will go on the resume as good wins even if they are losing to Fordham and Gardner Webb. That’s how it works, right?

I think if the tournament were held today, SJU would be in.  In that sense, the ooc has served its purpose.  Regardless of what happens, none of their wins so far will be enormous resume builders, but collectively they've beaten a few ok teams.  just need to hold serve when conference play rolls around.  ~22 wins and they'll be in.

I never said they wouldn’t be in or won’t get in. Simply making the tournament shouldn’t be the goal for this team and this roster. Getting an 8, 9 or 10 seed and losing in the first weekend would be a failure with this type of talent imo

On the cusp. Probably squeak in with a win over SH, but not many games this week so not a lot of opportunities for teams above to lose.

Really ridiculous to drop in the polls after beating a decent seton hall team in Newark. Should be top 15 with a win in Saturday, but most likely in the 20s

Back up to #24 in the NET rankings! This is just absurd.  -9 for losing to a good SH on the road and then +12 for beating Marquette by 20.

The point differential is what really moved us.

This metric will not be kind to our tough schedule ahead.

"tough schedule ahead"  - I wouldn't call the immediate upcoming schedule tough. St. John's doesn't play a team currently ranked in the month of January. In fact, the only current ranked opponents on the remaining schedule are Duke & Marquette.

We're playing a team that's won 2 out of the last 3 national championships on the road. That's about as tough as a two dollar steak.

@Nova is a tough game by anyone's standards.

You don't think playing @ #1 Duke and the Big East schedule with no easy out is tough?

Yes, our schedule for the rest of the season is tough, but it’s not tougher than teams in the B12, B10, SEC and ACC are playing. Every team in those conferences will have tough schedules the rest of the way. The NET won’t be any less kind to them than it would be to us
