Powell ate Williams up too when he got the ball. Williams did a good job denying but was helpless after Powell actually got it.

Powell did next to nothing in the first half. Did Williams play in the second? For the life of me and you know I think you’re a great poster, how you think trimble is a good defender is beyond me. He is strong and likes to play physical. Other than that I’ve got nothing.

At the very least trimble should use up his 5 fouls for the bigs

She was the b*tch on the sidelines that was healthy enough to shoot pregame warmups and jump around like she was at a House of Pain concert during the game but had an ouchie in her knee.

He just started practicing on a limited basis this week. He’s not the reason they lost.

Powell beat Williams badly off the bounce. I believe it was first half...if not early second half.  The Trimble play at the end was bad as well.

They had whatever they wanted in the post. Clark picked up his 4th and we were finished.

Btw you get "cleared" based on what you tell the trainer. In my day if you told the trainer the truth you were labeled a pvssy. But these millennials play by different rules. He let his team play shorthanded and I bet we'll see him in less than 48 hours against Marquette...like 40 hours makes a difference in a 7-week old injury.

Lol, stfu. You have no idea if he was ready to play or not.

But yeah I'm sure you were a big tough guy in your day.  ::)

Hero ball, poor FT shooting, and bad conditioning hurt us but this does not excuse the awful job by the officials. We did enough to win this game.

That person is not a baby...you're not capable of having deeper thoughts other than black and white. Wow you are stupid

You're right. I think anyone who's read your Tourettes-like rantings on the gameday threads over the last several years can clearly see that you are a man capable of nuanced and multi-level thought and I'm a Luddite.

To recap: The call at the end was one of the worst I've ever seen. We got hosed.

ALSO: If we didnt go 7+ minutes without a bucket (from 9:48 to 2:20) and Heron and Ponds made front ends of one and ones at the end of the game, we'd the have been up by 7 and the refs wouldnt have mattered.

We had 64 points with 9:48 left in the game and we finished with 74. Thats why we lost, period, end of story.

Someone on Reddit pointed out that SH also made a substitution during the review which is illegal

Wasn't an illegal substitution. Time came off the clock

Actually, according to the broadcasters Custer and Elmore, the refs blew the whistle because they claimed the clock didn't start which was another bullshit excuse. If you watched the played .4 seconds actually went off the clock so the refs just needed extra time to make sure they were all on the same page when realizing they F'd up and they conveniently pulled out the BS clock didn;t start excuse. At least that's what the announcers said the refs told them.

The refs said the didn't start.
Then why the sub in? That sub would be illegal, that's the guy who hit the shot.

Because, the refs then took time off the clock, after they said it didn't start.  That makes the substitution legal.  Of course, we should have had possession of the ball....
